i took spanish in high school here.

a lot of pinoys did. easy language elective.

but i forgot all that shiet by now.

it was useful in jail though.

when the mexicans want to jump you they talk in spanish 1st amongst themselves.

i always knew part of what they say.

azkal is just a slang word, AZong KALye, so it just makes sense that those who were long far home don't understand it.. gilas on the other hand is a legit Filipino word.
