Peterson got tagged with an almost glancing shot that caused the KD in the 2nd round and it changed the complexion of the fight. Matty made lamont fight his fight and the result was an inevitable TKO in favor of the new people's champion.

lamont didn't fight intelligently. He was slugging it out with a puncher instead of using his speed and counter-punching advantage.

Matthysee made peterson fight his game. He is very good in cutting. Got real power in those hands.
