          i dated this laotian girl once and she taught me a nice sauce with it.

          lemon juice (or lime or calamansi)
          sugar
          patis
          sriracha

          simple lang pero ang sarap with mussels or crab or shrimp.

          matamis, maasim, maalat, maanghang all in one.

          just give some mussels and a plate of rice with that sauce and its all good.

              Yeah that's what we look for in a sauce. Mine is

              kalamansi, soy sauce, sliced tomato, sliced onion, and carpicium (siling labuyo).

              That's what I did for lunch with a fried yellow fin tuna. Siempre me mainit din na sabaw ng tuna na hinaluan ng mustasa, kamatis at sibuyas.

                      Ahahahahaha no that ain't santol. BTW, I was given around 10 santol bangkok just an hour ago, it was so sweet, you wouldn't want to throw the seed and yes I ate one with salt despite the sweetness.
