Not hardly. No one denys what he did for the sport, showing the importance of knowing submissions, and now pretty much everyone trains in some kind of submission art. But to call him the best ever is pretty bold...

Agreed.. Kimo gave him a good run in the early UFC's only becuase he had a backround in BJJ.. If BJJ was trained back then as it is today, the fights would habe been a lil more fair and probabllly longer.. I bet most of em are kicking em selves when they realized royce isnt a striker.. (they seemed to fear every aspect of his game).
