They do, but i am wondering if it goes beyond that.

It seems like the vast majority of media and fans, even bookies are all picking Francis to win, so maybe it is warranted.

Is everyone buying the hype or is it justified?

He is a beast and i can see how he wins, but at the same time, it's like people are giving Stipe no chance.

Nah Francis will KO anyone that stands with him. He landed maybe 2 clean punches the whole fight and closed one of Stipes eyes.
I give credit to Stipes genius game plan and execution.
He dragged him down and didn’t let him use his strengths.
That is fighting with your brains over Braun.

We all like to think the wholesome firefighter guy is marketable (and it should be) but in reality the UFC has a team of marketing analysts and they know trash sells. If he wants to be a star he needs to walk out in parachute pants and a top hat made out of duct tape, rack up a few felonies, etc.

When has a "wholesome" fighter ever really broken through to viral superstardom? A handful I guess but it's rare.
