Diaz has improved on his striking so much as of late.

It's funny how a nice jab can give you complete power in the Octagon. He schooled Gomi with a mere 1-2.

is it just me or was he doing absolutely no blocking to diaz's jab? i dont know i just expected him to cover up a little better

He was parrying it but that is what Gomi typically does. He doesn't block much as his chin is ridiculous. So he gets tagged by the follow up shot alot.


Thinking about it. I see what changed now. Gomi doesn't have the footwork anymore. In Pride he had great footwork. One of the best footwork. Now, he just plants his feet. I guess he didn't age gracefully.


I'll still watch him though. He could get cut and go back to Japan. I'd still watch him.
