if he can stop guys taking him down or at least get back up, how is Toney any worse than Junior Dos santos ? a fighter smashing his way to the top with average standup [by comparison to toney]

i know, and its not a mickey mouse blackbelt.
but at the same time he isnt using it, and gonzaga who is a far superior blackbelt in BJJ didnt goto the ground either because he believed his standup was solid.

im just saying that toney is such an accurate striker. the adjustment might not be so huge against alot of top HWs. but ofc you would expect a topclass wrestler or thinking mans fighter to take him down
