    Nick Agallar Vs. Yves Edwards

This match started off about as exciting as watching paint dry. For a good part of the first round, the fight consisted of a parade around the ring, Agallar and Edwards feeling each other out. This drew countless boo’s from the apathetic crowd. Agallar finally makes first noticeable contact, rocking Yves with a right hook. Some small exchanges take place and round one ends to the crowd’s approval. Round two got a little more exciting when these guys finally started to mix it up more. Yves lands a killer straight left on Agallar, who immediately drops to the ground. Yves follows, looking for mount, and begins raining punches and elbows down hard and furiously. Agallar covered up and gave Yves his back, in attempt to survive this in any way, but it just wasn’t happening.

    Keith Rockel Vs Chris Ligouri

Rockel dominated this fight from the beginning on Ligouri’s debut UFC fight. Ligouri busted open early from some Rockel poundings, and eventually found himself caught in a guillotine choke. This looked like a fairly easy victory for Keith Rockel.

    Pedro Rizzo Vs. Ricco Rodriguez

Round one opens up with some feeling out by both fighters. Clearly Ricco wants it on the ground but can’t seem to get it there. They get to the ground once but Rizzo is quick to stand up and get some leg kicks in. In Round 2, Rizzo lands a great right leg kick on Ricco, and keeps the fight standing for the majority of the round. Round three begins with some punch exchanges and numerous takedown efforts by Ricco. He just can’t seem to get a grip on Rizzo’s sweaty body when trying to grab him high, and shooting in has proved nearly impossible thanks to Rizzo’s incredible sprawl. During some punch exchanges, Ricco gets caught with an accidental thumb to his left eye. The ref stops the fight temporarily so Ricco can be examined and tended to. The fight resumes and continually Rizzo uses his standup game to control the fight in his favor.

After the fight ends, Ricco immediately leaves the Octagon, even BEFORE the decision is announced, storming back stage looking frustrated. The crowd is naturally not thrilled with this, and begins fierce booing of Ricco. Ricco is followed by some UFC officials and a few minutes later return to the octagon. As the fighters await the descision, The crowd begins a vicious chant of “Ricco Sucks!” repeatedly.

    Rizzo by Unanimous Descision.
