In the main event, Urijah Faber successfully defended his WEC featherweight title when he choked out Chance Farrar at 3:19 of the first round on a Sunday card that took place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It was debut televised WEC card on the Versus network. [details]

i'm a friend of urijah's and last nights fight was awesome! chance came in with all intentions of winning & did a damn good job in there, i'm sure he'll be making lots of noise in the division!!

being shown live, FREE, was a great showcase for the WEC and all the fighters involved - remember when boxing title fights used to be free back in the day, like on "Wide World of Sports" !?!?

Yeah I thought it sounded like an Israeli name. His post fight interview was funny. Plus the commentators were ripping on his take down attempts, but he kept coming. The guy that lost to him looked like he was pissed off.
