Yeah, those are bad. Especially considering how much they made from gate sales alone. I'm guessing 7 or 8 million, not including PPV.

Even Chuck only getting 500,000 for what's probably one of the biggest, if not the biggest fight in MMA...seems a little low.

The gate was around $4 million. Dana said there were over 1 million PPV buys. Chuck and Rampage most likely get a percentage off the buy rate.

Yeah. This doesn't cover PPV shares and fight bonuses. It is rediculous though. An average training plan costs at least 10K to set up. A lot of those prelim. people got screwed by the returns. That's why the have and thank all the sponsers.

I know some of those salaries suck. I mean some of those guys just have to be fighting for the love of it. Which makes for good fights because if they win they could get paid more, but for a company on the rise you think the salaries would be even higher. Liddell you would think would have been making at leat 1 million. We'll see for how much longer the fighters will take the lower salaries and not complain. Because you know at some point there will be controvery over it and we will see how the UFC handles it. Like with a lot of situations in life money can make things bad.

I heard the amounts submitted to the Athletic Commission had Liddel and Jackson listed as being paid flat salaries.

Yeah, they have to give out a flat fee. They also have been known for giving PPV shares as insentive to sign big headline matches. Zuffa also gives 5K bonuses to best KO, Best Submission and Best all around fight. And then you can't rule out sponsorship money as well.

Still, even with the bonuses, the pay still sucks.
