Aventinus, a weizenbock, 8.2 abv. Good stuff:

Dogfish Head Fort, 18.0 abv. Believe it or not, this is a beer. It literally tastes like rasberries and alcohol:

The tax on strong beers is going to go up in the UK, and I find it a bit daft really. A lot of the stronger beers are made to be enjoyed, rather than get pissed on. You can't compare Special Brew to a beer like Duvel. The people buying those two beers are going to be buying them for different reasons, generally speaking.
