The selectors have overlooked Gilchrist and Hussey and have chosen 26 yr old Michael Clarke.

Bit of a surprise really, since he's so young and not as experienced as the other 2.

i guess this was sort of a foregone conclusion.. i dont know much about his captaincy credentials.. but id have liked him to be scoring runs more consistently before they gave him the C considering that pretty much guarantees his spot for the next 6-7 years

On a serious note, Michael Clarke, well when Lara is in your camp things tend to fall into place. If i was dating her, im pretty sure with no fight experience i could win a world title in 3 fights, lol. If you get what i mean.

i dont see it as a suprise at all... its only 20/20 and the others are aging, think it is time to look to the future.
