well it doesnt really compare to another. It just another aquatic scent like cool water but better. Eternity is a citrusy scent. If you're in to those there are many alternatives

I've smelled that one before and it's not bad

another cologne I got once as a gift and it wasn't bad was Victoria Secret's Very ***y for men
