Canibus was a good lyricist but that's it. Common made two good albums imo. But Pun was versatile. He got credit but when we speak of greatest of all time his name needs to be mentioned in the top 10 at least. He made two classic albums and numerous features he out shined everybody else on the song. He could do the gangsta sh&t, the playa sh%t, and the underground sh%t.

Big Pun is highly rated though. It's what i'm saying. By underrated, do you mean that he should be rated higher, like top 3? He's usually top 10 best. Top 25 in anything means you are pretty highly rated.

Pun might be underrated to some but I don't think he's the most underrated. Big Pun seems to get his due respect in Hip Hop. He's widely considered the best Latino rapper ever and I've seen him on a lot of all time lists.

Guys like Black Thought, MF DOOM, Z-Ro and Scarface are just as good as Pun IMO and have more music but they don't get rated as highly as Pun most of the time. They never went Plat either.
