You could argue they’ll play better as a unit but in terms of talent the Nets are STACKED. It ain’t really close. Who’s the Lakers third best player for example?

But roster for roster the Lakers are way better
Besides the two best players in the league....
Dennis Schroeder
Kyle Kuzma
Montrezl Harrell
Marc Gasol
Kentavios Caldwell Pope
Markwiff Morris
Alex Caruso
Talen Horton Tucker
Guys like Wesley Matthews can’t even get on the court

KD is top 3 with LeBron and Kawhi IMO. Scoring titles, MVP’s, Finals MVP’s, Rings, the guy has the lot.
Harden is also an MVP calibre player.
Kyrie is a multi time all star. Who’s came up clutch in big moments including the Finals.
Lakers are nowhere near as deep as the Nets in terms of talent man.
The Nets have 3 superstar players the Lakers have two.
Then Dinwiddie their back up guard is easily the same level as Schroeder.
Joe Harris and Shamet are better floor spacers than KCP or
Caruso.
The Lakers are deeper in the 5 position I’ll concede that, but that’s it really.

If Kyrie gets his head in the game, NETS taking everybody out and winning the whole thing.
Lakers won’t be able to stop all three of KD Kyrie and Harden. Unstoppable scoring action

Only other thing that could derail them is injuries like the Warriors in 18-19.

Damn!!!
Harden also leaves Texas, one of nine states without an income tax on wages, for New York, one of the nation’s highest taxing states. While Harden will continue to be owed the same amount of money over the next three years, his pay will be subject to an approximately 12.7% tax rate between New York State and New York City.
In November, we ran the numbers on a Harden trade to the Nets. The short of it: He’ll pay an additional $13.6 million in taxes over the next three years. The following chart, which incorporates jock taxes and assumes that Harden will be a resident of New York City, breaks down the numbers:
Beyond taxes, Harden will experience a far higher cost of living in New York than in Houston. According to Nerd Wallet, it is 92% more expensive to live in Brooklyn, and 165% more expensive to live in Manhattan, than in Houston. Potentially offsetting the increased taxes and cost of living may be lucrative endorsement opportunities in the nation’s largest media market.

I suppose that is enough for Harden to instantly begin hating life with the Nets.
Kyrie already does. Hasn't been the same since he left Lebron. Blew up the Celtics, went to BK and brought them down too. Now doesn't even want to play.
KD already thinking about joining Butler in Miami, Boston, or Giannis already I bet.
