so do masks work? if they do, why can't people go to church, kids go to school, people go to ball games? (just keep the masks on and it'll all be good)
if masks don't work, why do people need to wear them?
because people do not keep the masks on, its really simple, they do not keep them on
If you think about just your house. Imagine high touch points Door handles. The tv remote, the stair rail. Really you should wash your hands after touching these points.
Now imagine say a nurse on a ward looking after 10 patients. Imagine all those high touch points, all handles. Computer keyboards, patients surroundings. The patients themselves!
Even in ordinary circumstances you would wash your hands:
1. Before touching a patient or their bedside area
2. Before a clean procedure
3. Fluid exposure
4. After touching patient
5. After touching patient surroundings.
So they're i washing your hands hundreds of times a day. Over a 13 hour day.
Lets say their colleague on took off their mask but touched the outside of it when binning it, the mask had some droplets on it. They washed their hands but not well enough that time. They then touch the handle to the entrance to the ward when they go out to get a sandwich.
A Dr has finished their shift touches the handle. They bite their finger nails on their walk to their car. A nervous trait they have.

what are you talking about?
the question is do face mask and shield work because if they do why the need to retest. Healthcare workers wear their face mask and face shield all day.

The virus proliferates.
Dr is sick.
so then wearing a mask and face shield is pointless then
They say wearing a mask isn't to protect you, but to protect others.
1) So if someone is working in the healthcare field, and they're wearing their mask and face shield, why do the healthcare workers still need to be tested?
2) If the reason is to make sure the healthcare workers don't have it, but isn't that what the mask and face shield is for, to protect from getting it?
3) If it's because there's still a chance that they can get it even with a mask and face shield, then why wear both at all, doesn't that prove it doesn't work?
Someone please give him a kick in the right direction or take away his device.
