Exactly. Imagine a world leader after SARS saying that another pandemic will come out of China again sooner than later. ( as far as timing of pandemics go ) Saying Medical supplies will need to be stock pilled for the eventual outbreak at great cost, while there’s still not enough resources as it is in the present. Lessons in social distancing, conservation, hoarding, etc. “Problematic” “Racist” “fear mongering” “stigmatizing” and all the stats possible to try and prove how unlikely it is would be displayed. China would put their own sanctions on, arrest sum of your citizens as spies. Trade would slow. Maybe nothing could really stop this or get ahead of this. But yeah u can’t win. Call it “unforeseen” and ur opponent will tell u why it totally was. Here’s the paradox, who is the as*h*le?
