What does socialism in this survey entail? Police Department, Fire Department, Public Parks, Public Libraries, Medicare and Medicaid are all socialist policies.

22% believe in abolishing private property.

        America=

The survey was administrated by an international foundation sanctioned by both the European Union & US Congress. So not "right-wing conspiracy theorists".

27% believe President Trump, the first non-interventionist president the US has had in 30+ years, was the biggest threat to world peace, higher than Kim Jong-un. Insert Orwellian "War is Peace" reference.

        I realize it was inevitable:
US-born millennials were raised on hardline Marxism via public schools.
Foreign-born millennials are mostly form developing socialist countries & many just don't know anything else.

There is no "Atlas" population to hold civilization on its shoulders. Nothing was passed on.
        Yo mama enjoys millennial "D!"

the UK election should give hope. that despite the onslaught of marxist indoctrination on it's youth and the constant flow of new labour voters from the third world, socialism/communism still took a resounding L.

thing about these low IQ, leftist ideologues is that sure they can win a good number of voters with promises of free *****. but let sanders, AOC keep talking. because it's simply a matter of time before people start smelling the stink of a genocidal commie.

I can't work out how to imbed vidoes on this site so here's a link, I was watching this a few days ago in the aftermath of the Conservative landslide over here and there's a nice summary of the left wing millennials starting at about 17 minutes in.

Basically, the left has the following remaining as a voter base over here. Traditional working class people like my parents who have voted for them since the 60's, though as we've just seen a lot of them have now abandoned them. But I can understand that, there was a time when Labour had a use, and old habits die hard. Then there's the upper crust lefty toffs (think JK Rowling), who think they're better than the old school conservative toffs because they don't have posh accents.

Then you have the "woke" lefty student types, who are the ones who like this modern socialism rubbish. And I honestly think he's right, they've done crap degrees, they make low 20K salaries, they're not successful, so they want re-distribution of wealth. If they were making any money and doing well, which they might do as they get older, they'll abandon these "principles" and move to the right. They don't have a real belief in socialism, it's what they're adopting because they're used to getting what they want in life, and as they move into their 20's and 30's aren't getting it, so this is their equivalent of locking themselves in their room and sulking until their parents buy them the toys they want.

I remember that Skank Cheygur argument. Basically any form of government service is socialist.

It sure would be a sad, ironic twist of fate:

                    - Europe tasting diet socialism, suffering from it's dangerous traps during the recession/austerity crisis & gradually rolling back to center.

                    - Americans struggling to compete for livable wages due to free markets gone wrong (globalism/open borders), their anger leading to support for fullblown communism.

Absolutely. As they grow older and begin to work, they start to understand how it's a bad idea, but a lot of them ignore it and keep on the liberal path. It's dangerous.
