Of all my friends' holiday trips (Thailand or Caribbean islands or other sunny places), I've only envy one. He used his savings (it was expensive) to visit Antartica.

I dont know, I like tropical beach environments the most, I reckon its related to evolution but not as directly as the above pictures.

I think alot of people like tropical beaches because its so lush and colorful, maybe its food related maybe the turquoise color is pleasing in a similar way as colorful fruit is.

Add some red and purple to the picture and it would look even better?


Hard to find a red plant near a turquoise beach or an in general as good a picture with the plant to boot but yea I think color is alot of it so that probably is related to fruit/food

Well, I found this thread fun, and will follow the outcome.
Of your pics, I'm convinced the last one (the bay with the sand beach) is a sure winner.
