Good points. Lets look at places like CA where they've raised the gas tax how many times? Then the money is used in the general fund and not the roads. So then they raise it again and again and say "this time" we'll use it on the roads.

Its tough to understand because Dems dont want you using cars. They are taxing you until you take public transportation. Thats the real goal here.

They got us in VA like that with the lottery. "It'll all go to education. More teachers, more computers, better equipment." In the end, it all just gets dumped into the general appropriation fund

Team R total: 14.6

Team D:
IL: 19.0
CA: 5.6
CT: 2.6
MD: 1.4
RI: 1.0

Team D total: 84.6

(Let it be noted that in OH, they are increasing the EITC to offset any hardship the tax places on poor in OH)

4 of the 7 R states have increases of less than a penny. None of the D states do. 2 of the 6 team D states have increases of more than the total of all R states.

One year from today CA is set to rise gas taxes again. Lol. They're not saying how much but they are raising it again in a year from today. Let's blame the oil companies doe. MCC isnt on the OP's Ignore List, but MCC has put the OP (and countless others) on his.

That why the thread got started. My son MCC was cheerleading again, but because everyone not on his team is on his Ignore List, no one could respond.

He's free to reply here. He just doesn't have the intellectual courage to do so.
