I disagree. If it was any of us that did what he did we would be going to jail. I don't believe that anybody or any group have more rights or enjoy privileges especially on something that has this much coverage.

Hopefully the FBI investigation will go deep in the prosecutor and Smollett.

Would be interesting to see if there was anything improper or illegal about what law enforcement or the prosecutor did to make them think this case wasn't winnable since they claimed they thought he was guilty. Or if they did something that violated Smollet's rights.

The police went harder and deeper on this than any recent murder case I have seen that's for sure.

I think Kim Foxx's office severely underestimated the gravity of this so called victimless crime.

Not sure how easy/difficult it is for feds to "unseal" these records.
