I feel equally safe or unsafe on a global scale depending on how you wanna look at it. I think the D's are too passive with foreign countries thus some crazy sh^t could go down due to their p#ssiness. And I think the R's are too chickhawk-ish & might start some sh^t over nothing with foreign countries.
For inside the US sh^t I think I feel safer with D's over the R's cuz the D's seem to wanna error on the side of caution & the R's wanna error on the other side with a lot of sh^t so as long as it makes sense today they don't consider what issues could come up further down the road. I largely put that on religion being a bigger influencer with R's than D's in their day to day habits & beliefs more than a R political angle doe. Although I guess one could argue their pushing on biblical sh^t IS part of the R political angle.

Probably this pattern of swapping back and forth beteween democrat and republican leadership works
Prevents the country from ever getting too far down one side's rabbit holes
I don't have to worry about this country ever being a Christian fundamentalist ****hole or a broke socialist ****hole. Fine with meLast edited by BrometheusBob.; 10-12-2018, 02:02 PM.

Iraq in hindsight was obviously a mistake, but putting ourselves back in that time frame, most were on board.
Lets make sure people understand what happened.
The government used and manipulated people's raw and shaken emotions to get public support to go to war with a country that had nothing to do with 911.
Americans got got by their own government.
Iraq wasnt a mistake. They knew specifically what they were doing and they knew that they would get away with it. We just wanted to get back at 'those bastards' and they wanted their plan carried out.
I dont know why people forgave them for it.
I know that any politician or person who still defends that war is officially a nutjob for me (Im looking at you Pence).
