From the outside looking in here is how it goes...

I've always been very pro America and remain so as I see the US as the necessary police man of the world, as their will always be one and I'd rather it be the Americans than any Eastern power for ideological reasons...and for the lefty liberal fools..."American corruption" has it's citizens with money in hand living a relatively high standard of life, where everywhere else which is considered "anti America" people live in relative poverty. So the choice is clear for me...

With that out of the way....

I was hoping that Trump will be the champion of democracy and stick it to those not abiding to international law in a way that Obama didn't (or didn't do enough). But he appears very keen on having cozy relations with world leaders who abide by no laws but their own. In that regard it just seems very un-American.

He's burning bridges in terms of trade...America IS Capitalism, America IS free trade, and putting up tariffs with your allies is again the most un-American think I can imagine, much more so than the first point I made.

Haven taken a couple of flights to NY recently, and engaging in some airplane/airport talk with a few individuals, business is not happy with this and I'm left scratching my head.

Low unemployment and good economic outlook? Well that is what happens when you cut corporate taxes! Any president could have done that. How good it would have been if on top of the tax cuts Trump would have ushered in even more free trade?

What do I agree with?

NATO members should definitely start to pay up and build up their own armed forces, all of the West needs to bump their defense budgets.

Illegal immigration (somewhat a domestic policy) needs to be controlled globally, although I'm of the opinion that US will always need to import low skill labour because how many Americans will pick strawberries? In any case, there is no excuse for people to illegally cross any sovereigns borders.

But the biggest issue I find these days, its that you are either for or against......you can't criticize, you cant reason you cant compromise. Society is more divided than ever, and I feel like this is a global issue, America is just first to arrive at this juncture.

Purely as an individual he comes across as a cretin. The man clearly never picked up a history book or studied foreign affairs. The man has no education and is an ego maniac. This wouldn't make him the first or the only world leader with those qualities, but I expect more out of the US. But, it is only my opinion that a politicians of highest echelons need to be highly educated individuals who can hold a conversation.

Besides the hate that the Dems are giving whats he done to hurt Americans? Ive seen Dems wishing for a failed economy just so it will tank him. Ive seen Dems wishing China wins a trade war just so it hurts him. Ive seen Dems against his tax plan even though its hurts the rich when it comes to writing off their homes. Ive seen Dems against a tax cut even though it helps middle class and those with children (tax credit) Ive seen Dems want the market to tank. Jokes aside, I definitely think he needs to cool it with his Twatter nonsense. He just comes off like a complete moron. However, I think a lot of the daily outrage over everything he does is ridiculous. I am also just completely bored by the media and late night "comedy" shows whining about everything he does. As far as how he's doing, in spite of how hated he is by the mainstream, the economy and jobs seem to be doing quite well. I think the fact that he met with Kim Jong Un was a good thing. The meeting with Vladimir Putin was quite strange. Saying one thing and then going "I really meant to say the opposite" was clearly backpedaling.

93,000 jobs have been outsourced in Trumps first year including the Carrier jobs that he supposedly saved by essentially writing them a corporate welfare check.
Wages are not up like he said they are, he flat out lied.
Trump hit 4.1 quarterly GDP and bragged about it, Obama had quarterly GDP's hit 4.5, 4.7, 4.9 and 5.1 respectively.
Trump's also been bragging about his tax cuts which are 0.9% but Obama had tax cuts of 1.3 and 1.8%. He also wants even more tax cuts for the rich.
