  • Best economy of the past 30 years, lowest black and Hispanic unemployment in decades.

The only people who don’t like financial independence are those who want to trap others under the chains of institutional slavery.

Trump is winning for Americans and America.

God knows who they'll run in 2020.

      You got any predictions?
Well if the democrats keep on with this socialist movement Trump will win again.

No working person wants to pay more taxes to give the slugs everything they want for free.

      Not all democrats are liberals

        What question?

And you're supposed to be answering the question of what caused the 80s boom of not tax and regulation cuts iirc.

So far you've cited amnesty, but that's was shown to be a small factor.

What other factors do you credit for the 80s boom?

        • I was never into politics but recently i got interested and did extensive research and based on what i found, Trump is a good president. Infact, Donald trump might go down as the greatest american president of all time. Second term is a lock of course.

I cant believe so many people are this ignorant to knock on this man. Stupid. Do you guys realize how savy this man is?

Donald trump is an inspiration.. i never how legit this guy was.

Yes, Trump is doing a great job.

I also know another secret that is revolutionary but i cant tell you guys that. It’ going to make me a billionaire.

            • What about now?

See, what I get is a lot of "I've got 50 extra cents in my bank account, so he's a legend", but the guy is a complete ass clown, who has taken down the credibility of politics into the gutter. And also possibly a traitor to his country.

Winning is so much better with sore losers.

They simply lower the tax RATE. But as I've seen several times in my life, when tax RATES are cut, tax REVENUE increases.

Would care to explain how tax revenue rises when tax rates are cut? I'm curious what your knowledge base is in terms of basic Economics.
                  idk if anyone addressed this

but tax cuts add to the deficit by obviously lowering the amt of $ collected for taxes. when they are enacted without a corresponding decrease in spending, then yes, the tax cuts add to the deficit

I’ll try one more time since you are obviously not trained in this subject matter. See the below graph and tell everyone based upon the historical evidence how you determined that lowering taxes increases revenue? Reagen lowered taxes but then raised them many multiple times afterwards. The effect of tax INCREASES dramatically increased revenue in one instance.

There is no correlation between taxation and revenue and any economist worth his salt would tell you this.

What an honor it is to have him educate us on this obscure forum.

I've explained, many times, how that is not true.

                      Please keep up before posting.

I'd suggest you start by learning the difference between tax rate and tax revenue.

That's knowledge necessary to start grasping this subject.
