I know, I've seen the movie numerous times. Still do not consider it a hood movie. I live in rural America, 98% White, and know plenty of whites the same way. They are hillbillies.

Menace 2 Society, Juice, Boyz in the Hood, Dead Presidents, Poetic Justice, New Jack City, etc. those are hood movies. Bebe's kids is a cartoon that takes place in an amusement park. Like I said, just because it is about black people does not make it a hood movie. If you changed the characters to white people, it would be the same movie, and still a great movie, but not a hood movie.
