We've been playing hardball over fees for a while now. If we paid the original asking price we'd have signed him 2 months ago, same with the Sanchez deal. Dunno if we were ever in for VVD tbh.

Sometimes it works (Leicester wanted 95m for Mahrez, they got 60m), sometimes it doesn't.

If you think Jorginho would rather play for Chelsea in the Europa League than in the CL under Pep with a team who've just smashed all records then that's fine.
