Where do you stand on legal marijuana?

Almost all of the problems associated with addiction come from the fact that the drug is illegal.

With a guaranteed clean supply, accidental overdoses become less of a problem - and people don't have to turn to a life of crime to support their addiction.

Which isn't even relevant. The government should have absolutely no say in what I can and can't do with my body.

If there are bad consequences of what I do, then I have to take responsibility for that.

like drunk drivers who kill others ? maybe they get a revoked license (for the 5th time), a fine and MAYBE a lil jail time
theyre ''remorseful'' for a minute and then go out and do the same shlt.

if drug users can guarantee theyd never commit a crime while using or obtaining said drug, im all for it. like you said, its your adult body and you can enhance it/ruin it if you want to. just leave everyone else out of it.

I am a parent, and yes I would.

Drugs would do far less damage to society if they were legal.

People who do serious research on the topic will almost always agree with this. People who don't do any research, who think they can just apply their version of 'common sense', almost never agree with this.

Personally, I don't do any illegal drugs, and I very rarely drink. I might have a couple of beers once or twice a year.

When my kids get older, and want to hang out with their mates, I'd much rather that whoever is driving has been smoking marijuana than has been drinking.
Or if they get into anything heavy, I would much rather that they had something clean with a known dosage than trust some random dealer.

lets remove the fantasy of drug dealers accepting the change peacefully.

it would be a great world where users can control the junk theyre on. and that no one would ever step outside the lines and start making their own shlt. guns are legal and look whats going on over there......

nope. no one needs the vices that par take in. however, as a society, there has to be a line. we have to accept that no is the answer.

the law isnt with these drug users. so in essence, drugs are ''legal''.....if you dont get caught. again, its what happens AFTER a person has taken the drugs or what they do to get it/sell it that brings the law into the picture. and then that user want the law to take into consideration that, had they not been on the drug, they neer would have committed that crime.
