Let's not forget the Heat Spurs series a couple years back.

Hard to argue against, Kawhi, right now. They had almost identical statistical seasons offensively, but Kawhi is the superior defender, and it isn't even close. Plus Kawhi won a title and the Finals MVP. Basically if you have LeBron over Kawhi right now, you are giving Lebron credit for past results.

I agree KD was the best although not by a wide margin but to say a taller Kawhi is a stretch. Kawhi has the better post up game, better on ball defender and physically stronger. Durant would have not been able to do to Giannis what Kawhi did, granted that was a team effort but it was Kawhi as the primary defender that turned that Bucks series around.
