i assumed, since the rash of mass shootings inspired you to make this thread, thats what you meant by mass shooting.

maybe you can be more specific in what your idea of a mass shooting is ?

    you shouldnt include riots
I believe if you are unarmed and the body count is above 4 lives then I'd consider that a mass shooting regardless if it's a retaliatory mostly peaceful protest or some kid shooting up a school.

so, nothing to do with the nra.

all about legal gun owners who just so happened to have lost their minds ?

as someone pointed out, mass shootings cant hold a candle to gang/drug related shootings.

but lets not focus on that subcategory.....

The NRA are the root cause of the loose gun laws through their millions spend on buying politicians. Hell some former politicians have even said the one group they didn't mess with was the NRA because they had the power to cost them reelection. That's a major issue if our representatives are more concerned about pleasing a group that advocates very little restrictions on any gun.

again.....no group or law can predict when a legal gun owner is going to snap or what their motivation is for buying those guns.

you dont ''buy'' politicians, you ''sell'' your votes. politicians ''cater'' to groups that can get them elected. yes, its a technicality and politicos are quick to bite the hand that fed them once theyre retired.

another member pointed out how no one goes after car manufacturers or distilleries whenever theres a drunk driver situation. and those also outnumber mass shootings by far.

              drunk drivers are held accountable
guns are responsible for mass shootings

              wtf

a single car probably wont kill that many people at once

                    check it out, doe....

2015, TEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIXTY FIVE people were killed due to drunk drivers.

that one time 57 deal dont seem like such a big deal.
