i have to take that heartless stance because so much is at stake. wayyyyyyyy back in the day before dna and state of the art forensics came to the front, maybe a person would think they wouldnt be believed.

add men with money/power to the mix and thats added incentive for women to conjure up a rape. not to say men with money/power arent capable of having shlt get lost or swept away, just that if the rape is legit, no time to report it like the present.

Well yea, but there is deeper sh^t going on with this type of violation to is the thing.

If someone raped a guy I'm thinking there are a lot of dudes who'd not report it due to macho bs or feeling like less of a man.

I think something similar goes on with woman who've been raped or violated in sexual ways. So I'm not heartless OR sympathetic about it for the victim per se, but yea legally you got f#cked twice, once by your own doing, if you don't report a crime & you got legit raped so things work out how they work out if you keep quiet.

If there is anything that comes of this moving forward is it'll hopefully be that people who've been wronged criminally in a sexual way won't have a moment of procrastination in going to authorities that will result in quick justice to the offending party.

When someone dies you gotta cry. When you break up with your girl you gotta go get some new p#ssy the first weekend. And there are a million reactions you are supposed to have when something happens to you or else lol.

Thats complete & utter bullsh^t. People react in a million different ways & idk that most of them are right or wrong reactions to something happening to you since we are all different & deal with things in our own ways to best preserve ourselves, our family, our emotions & other sh^t that is important to us or central to our being.

But yea if you don't go to the police when you do get raped then you are playing your hand in a specific way that very likely will have negative outcomes for you & not as negative outcomes for the person who committed the crime. And thats that.

this might be TL/DR....

not here to rile people up, just picking a side thats not the middle. you can either give a pass and take their word on it or tell the victim ''be quicker next time''.

mourning and being victimized are completely different. sometimes a tragedy has to settle in before it hits a person. sometimes its immediate and lasts forever.

EXCLUDING those with mental deficiencies, when a person aged 14 on is a legit victim, there shouldnt ever be an incubation period. normal people (and yes, there is such a thing) know to go to the police. it happens very often and legit rapists are locked away. can be tough but victims get through it.

ok, lets examine legit reasons for waiting yearS -
1) fear; kids can be intimidated into not telling. especially if its a parent, relative or person in authority. only until that person is far away or the kid has gotten old do they find courage to come forward.
2) embarrassment; kids may feel or be told that its their fault and feel ashamed. confusion also plays a part.

telling but not being believed is not the same as waiting to tell. if a legit victim told and was either laughed at or threatened or blackmailed, well, then i guess thats when i can budge.

most (95%) of women who kill their hub/bf use battered woman syndrome YET theres not one report or eyewitness (except the woman). ''i was scared'' or ''i was trapped, had nowhere to go.'' are the most convenient lies a woman can use.

so let me rephrase my stance -
0 sympathy for adults who were supposedly raped/harassed/molested and waited years. i only see a person with a vendetta.

under the legit reasons i stated, i can understand children waiting.
