US still has some of the worlds best environmental laws

It's the tone it sets when everyone is trying to work together on something towards a global good. Being isolationists aren't exactly a good thing.

We have/had some good EPA laws in place, but like I previously posted Trump is unwinding all of that. So those laws that you believe to be setting a high standard towards curbing pollution is being undone just to make the corporate polluters richer by enabling them to pollute at will, no consequence.
