Basically, ads in Britain cannot show sexy and beautiful women (looking sexy and beautiful) like Kate Upton in this ad. It's astonishing to me how society is 'regressing.' Unbelievable

So what is the issue exactly? I mean if people are actually getting arrested over trivially offensive tweets online, then I agree that that is stupid. Just there being the possibility of people choosing to report mean tweets is a non-issue, as the cops may only actually pursue people whose actions could reasonably be construed as harassment.
