You could find a therapist, (like he suggested) but explain to this therapist that you really want help for your father, not just Yourself...
Your Dad can start sitting in during sessions, initially in support of you but ultimately being treated himself..

Hopefully the therapist can get your father to realize that you love your father as he is and that forcing you to accept his immature Behavior is causing a wedge between the two of you...

If your father can turn the page and evolve into a better person, then job well done !!!
