Nah I doubt it. Guys like Cousins, Davis, Gasol, Whiteside, and Drummond will always have value. You need somebody who can stuff the paint. They are starting to shoot 3s too, to adapt so I highly doubt they become absolute. Cousins and Davis are 2 top 10 players for a reason. If Celtics get one of them, game over.

Cousins is one of the worst PnR defenders in the NBA. Why do you think a team that has Davis-Cousins-Holliday is barely in a playoff spot. Pelicans have been worse ever since squiring Cousins.

Having 5 versatile players on the floor is the new NBA. Some teams are just slow to adapting but eventually everyone will be playing that style.

The only reason they are barely alive is because the west is so ****ing stacked compared to the east and there wings suck. They really just need one solid 3 & D wing at the 2 or 3 and they would be a lot more competitive with top teams.

Teams don't fear ****ing Moore, Jameer Nelson or Tony allen on the wing.

They certainly aren't better considering they acquired an apparent "superstar". They're in the same position as they were last year without Cousins. They would be better off trading Cousins and moving AD to center. Having twin towers on the floor doesn't work anymore unless every team in the league is playing the same style.

Just look at the cavs. Both their centers are 6'9. Tristan and Love. Their low-post D isn't that great but they make up for it on the offensive end. Low-post defense is a small price to pay because they can still defend PnR better and 3point shots are worth more than points in the paint obviously.
