It's a mixed bag,on the one hand they are taking money from people who work but on the other hand they can't save it( or risk getting a reduction in benefits) so they put it right back into the economy. You can make the same arguments about government arms contracts.

anyone getting social assistance pays a lot of taxes, sales taxes, liquor taxes, VAT taxes.

HiLIARy only gives handouts to the wealthy, like lloyd blankfein and john epstein. if crooked had won she wasn't doing **** for anyone on welfare

It's vital to have unemployed people, yes.

Without them businesses would need to compete for labour and since rich folk don't like to lose any off their huge profits paying workers, inflation would go through the roof.

That's a fallacy... Inflation and unemployment are hardly connected..

Inflation is not rising prices, it's based on scarcity of money and really no relation at all to unemployment..

Just look at Zimbabwe,,, if you were right, they would have little to none inflation with their huge unemployment rate, yet they have inflation that is highest in the world..

Anyone who thinks unemployment is somehow good for the economy is falling for leftist propoganda

Huge unemployment doesn't equal low inflation but low unemployment must equal inflation.

Ok let's say everyone had a job and you come up with the next Starbucks, where are you going to get you employees from ?
