Sig has an exact 1911.

Not no hyrbrid. THough hey do have Sig p220-229 that have a 1911 type single action trigger.

Iirc they are made in Philippines and distributed in usa.

It's cheaper price but due to peso-dollar exchange rate and cheaper labor.

Filipinos have been buying, using, making 1911 for a huneed years. They know how to make 1911.

They are more obsessed with .45 than Americans are.

no i meant the shape of the slide on the SIG 1911s. it's boxier and has the side cuts like the P220.

im also familiar with RIA. my buddy has the GI model it's almost exactly like my SA mil-spec lol. great quality for the price tag. i would replace the crappy grips on it though.

i'd give an arm and a leg for an antique WWII. found out SA used to sell replicas i missed out on.

Its nice it gets a little hard to load once you've got about 75-80 bullets in it.

Sometimes it will go off and shoot like two or three round bursts.

The gun is obviously for fun though so I don't use it much. Just like to show it off cause most people have never seen one.

I use to see it wannabe future movies.

Always thought it was cool.
