I think the mindset of most is that the thought of "muscle car" invokes a rumbling V8.
Really don't know much about the Camaros turbo 4, but the Ecoboost 4 in the Mustang is a decent compromise, I guess. Good gas mileage, good power, but the Mustang isn't a lightweight. Like many Direct Injected turbo cars, there is lot that can be gained by a tune at a performance shop with a dyno.
