I reckon the Iraqi national team could put up a better effort than Sweden.

Some of these perennial big tournament teams have been really, really poor.

Ukraine, Czech Republic, and Sweden.

Awful.

Sweden had 3 touches in the Italy area or something, lol. They also got absolutely bodied by Ireland before they got tired.

The round of 16 can't come soon enough. These group games are terrible.

It's almost harder to not qualify for the next stages ffs..

Nobody has to take a risk because a point or two and you have a very decent chance of qualifying. No wonder Wales and co refuse to venture out of there own box..

Group stages usually aren't the best.. but Uefa went full ****** with the new setup

I suppose there is a very good chance England will get wrecked by someone decent but........England's team is straight counter-attacking. Russia and Wales just gave them the ball. Must have had 60-70% possession in both.

We got less possession against Australia ffs.

So essentially - England can't even play their natural game because the other teams aren't good enough to make it happen.

I guess what I am saying as that these **** sides are actually making England look a bit shittier, lol

for real. none of the games so far was good. maybe belgium - italy, but it was decent at best.
