There are multiple take some time to read.

Rastafarianism is almost entirely appropriated from Hindu culture.

The little dude was appropriating all kinds of cultures from his harem pants to his top that looked like some sort of rug.

Yeah. I know the strain we have in Jamaica is from India. Got this from the link you posted: "We must note that although the Rastas contact with Indian Sadhus may have spurred on the wearing of dreadlocks, the African influence on Rastas wearing of dreadlocks came from the Kenyan revolutionaries, the Mau Mau who wore dreadlocks as a sign of resistance against European colonial culture imposed on Africans."

I know. All I asked for was sources. Just like majority of Americans our ancestors came from elsewhere.

Never even heard of cultural appropriation until this. Seems like a good thing.

That dude was just a sartorial and follicular renaissance man.

            The girl a complete ****.

Then her mate seems to have appropriated inspector gadget - who on reflection we all know was probably some kind of paedophile.

And that is clearly wrong since there are plenty of examples of Jamacian blacks wearing dreads before the Mau Mau rebelled in the 1950s.

Look the idea of roping your hair is not exactly spitting the ****ing atom. The idea came independently in multiple cultures. There are native American tribes that wore dreadlocks. There are per-Colombian mummies found in Peru with dreadlocks.

The finer your hair the more you would need to come up with something like dreadlocks before they had barbers, showers, and shampoo.
