Who knows, but a blanket statement like the US is scared is just not true, not a single person in the US military is afraid of any other force in the world, a healthy respect but not scared, and I'm sure Russia has that same healthy respect to not to start **** to the point of war, nobody comes out on top of it comes to that !

US has lost wars against pity **** nations like Afghanistan, Iraq, Al Quaida, Taliban, ISIS , Vietnam to name a few. It sure is **** scared to go to war against the Mighty Russia .

Not an expert, but the F-35 is more of a "jack of all trades" type of platform, and wasn't built exclusively for air superiority. Probably can serve the type of mission well, but the Raptor is the big dog in the US arsenal as far as that goes.

Don't know much about the Chinese bird, but if it's on par with the Su-35, then it's a bad *****. The Typhoon is a bad mofo as well.

My take, the F-22 is the most advanced and "capable", but probably not by a far enough margin to justify it's eye popping cost.

yep. you can't be a fan of military aviation without being a fan of it. it's a gorgeous and very powerful plane. some say the PAK-FA is just a much cheaper version of the F-22, but it already loses in the looks department. the Su-27/35 platform is still my favorite plane ever though. damn i sound like a ****ing nerd.

the f-22 is literally in a different generation than the other planes listed other than the pak-fa but that one isn't in production yet

f-35 sounds "newer" but its essentially modular/budget version of the f22 concept, it's slower, shorter range, less advanced electronics, etc

ive seen the f22 fly up close it was about as loud as 5 f-16s, i cant imagine the horror of having one attacking you (not that you would see it)

F-35 is junk. thing can't take off without something breaking and it takes days to get it back up and running, lost to past prime F-16 head to head. USA pulled some cheap used car salesman **** and swindled a lot of foreigners into buying one full price. suckers haha.
