      Dredd was amazing visually, as was Avatar, I'd add the movie 2012 to that list as well.

                    Belly is the most watchable movie with the sound turned off I've ever seen. Amazing visuals through out. Hype Williams directed it & you may or may not know his name, but he created damn near ever dope ass video you saw in the 90's on MTV that almost always had amazing visuals in them as well so he was well practiced.

                      Try some sci-fi short films too:

                      Post Human (2012) - Damn....
                      Abiogenesis (2011) - Just a cool little film, with nice visuals.
                      The Rift (2012) - Interesting premise for a story, wish it were longer.
                      We Ate the Children Last (2011) - Not necessarily visually killer, but an interesting take on modern culture, apathy and greed.
                      Perfect Drug (2012) - Insane, you might not want to take drugs after this.
