So I got to see my doc again Tuesday, about 35 days after the appointment where he told me just to wait out about a month. I feel worse than ever and hes convinced I have a bad case of post concussion syndrome. I haven't even gone for a run in over a month and it looks like I'm not going to be for a while. Exercising makes my symptoms get worse, plus the shortness of breath doesn't exactly let me run. My blood pressure's pretty high and I can't eat more then once or twice a day. I'm scheduled to see a neurologist, a psychiatrist, I have to get a celiac test because he wants to eliminate the any other possibility. A brain MRI, weekly blood work, a 24 hour urine sample and a 24 hour blood pressure monitoring test.

Plus if it is just post concussion syndrome it can go away in a few days, weeks, or years... Can't treat it so you have to treat the symptoms...

The problem is that he's pretty sure I trained through a few concussions over the last year. And you know... Training for a boxer means getting in the ring and taking blows to the head. Which apparently you shouldn't do if you're concussed...

That's not good if that is the case. I wish you a speedy recovery, make sure to have a lot of headache drugs on hand, excedrin and what not.
