The US health system is badly prepared for a pandemic like this. People can't afford to go to hospital and sick people can't afford to stay home from work.

I predict, that by this time next year, the US will be in the top 3 in the western world in terms of fatalities per capita.

Most major employers are offering indefinite paid leave for people diagnosed or who recently returned from China.

The main problem right now... Drumroll... A national shortage of government-provided testing kits. Private industry is meeting the problem head on and government healthcare agencies passed out on the starting line.

When Biden and Obama were in charge of the Swine outbreak 17,000 Americans died. they waited till 1,000 Americans died before they called state of emergency. Trump did that as soon as 1 died. Obama/Biden NEVER canceled flights, NEVER quarantined. They just let Americans die.Zero media outrage or panic.

Between 16,000 and 30,000 Americans a year die from the flu, where is the panic over that ?.The number of deaths around the world for Corona is like 4,000. We’re nowhere near what we tolerate for the flu alone..Majority of 30+ US coronavirus deaths occurred in Wash. Here in Denmark, where the disease is more progressed, the tactic of testing all in order to identify where the virus came from, has been abandoned to now only test those who are old, weak and ill. Regular working people wont be tested. They'll just be ill. Ie no diagnose....
