not exactly in russia but if you do business outside the country and want to run for political office that shouldnt matter what you did as a private citizen you still have the right to do business with who you want (of course no war criminals etc) and can still run for office at a future time

Of course it matters javi. If you have been given money by a foreign country then you could be compromised as President. In this case, Trump has likely received millions from Russia. We also know he has extensive business with the Saudi Royal family, which surely affected the way he handled the Khasoggi murder.

With his tax information revealed, we as citizens would know the full extent of those dealings and then could fairly react to any decision he made regarding these countries, same as all other Presidents.

The main point is don't be the kind of idiot Trumper that pretends all handshakes and conversations on photos are equal. Trumpers always want context and nuance to be included when judging him yet abandon both whenever its someone else.
