Does it ever make you think about how these polls really could be so wrong? The last time the polls got it wrong was Dewey/Truman in 1948.

For almost 70 years, using more and more accurate scientific polling, the "experts" have predicted outcomes correctly, even in communities where dead people vote 7 times.

Then we get to 2016 and all of the major polls are wrong despite using more accurate modern polling methods employing the best statistical software available.

Coincidentally, the year they all get it wrong is also the year we have clear evidence from our intelligence agencies that there was outside tampering with the election from a foreign government.

Exactly my point. How did the Huff Post and everuyone else just suddenly get it wrong?

Common sense dictates this wasn't a coincidence. Again, 70 years of accurate polling at all levels of national elections. Polling that correctly predicted Trump winning in the republican primaries. Polling that was correct for Senate and House races the same year, yet was wide off on ONLY the Presidential election.

That is a strange anomaly that isn't easily explained.

The dossier isn't fake. Those aren't lies contained in it. If the information contained doesn't matter to you, cool.

I do remember the 1982 Cali governor's race where many people said they supported Mayor Bradley but ended up voting for Deukmejian so Bradley lost despite having a large lead in the polls.

Maybe something similar happened here. Maybe there was just a "Trump effect" akin to the"Bradley effect".
