    you don't understand what i'm talking about when i say "small sample," but that's exactly what that is. i can tell that you get your information from pro gun sources. i get mine mostly from non partisan sources and university studies.


    what happened after those 3 years? rates plummeted. i keep posting information that shows that

      how about homicides being lower 1993 and 1994 BEFORE gun gan being lower than years AFTER gun ban 1996?

            those three years are included in the studies that gathered data for hte 10-20 years following hte new policy. it is misleading to look only at such a small sample. it's bad science / quantitative reasoning.

                that's from 1993-2007.

                around the time of the 1996 gun ban.

                • I really don't see how anyone can argue that guns are a good thing, or that more of them would make things better. The rest of the civilized world has realized this and have low levels of violence.
