One thing I've noticed in all my years on the internet, is that Americans have trouble figuring out the difference between England, Britain and the United Kingdom etc.

This video explains why Ireland split in 2, but also goes into detail about what Britain and the United Kingdom is and the history behind the formation of it.

It was informative for those who didn't know. I knew about the split in 1920's and the disagreements that followed. But I didn't know all of the constant changing of the royal line between Catholic and Protestant. Good post.
