  • Pianist banned from performing in Canada because she doesn't support Kiev regime

Canada has disgraced itself by bowing to a fascist regime and not permitting freedom of speech.

Ukrainian pianist Valentina Lisitsa uses her Twitter account to frequently express her strong support of those fighting against Kiev forces in Ukraine. In more than 13,000 tweets aimed at more than 9,000 followers, she has posted sharp denunciations of the Western media and Ukrainian "neo-Nazis" mixed with graphic battlefront videos and images.

Canadian orchestra drops Ukraine-born pianist Valentina Lisitsa over anti-Kiev posts

        http://rt.com/news/247297-canada-orc...anist-ukraine/

A Ukrainian-born pianist was barred from playing at Canada’s Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) for expressing views on the situation in Ukraine via Twitter, according to the soloist herself. The move led to a social media storm tagged #LetValentinaPlay.

The orchestra has officially announced its decision to drop pianist Valentina Lisitsa from its Rachmaninoff Concerto #2 program earlier this week. TSO President and CEO Jeff Melanson cited “ongoing accusations of deeply offensive language by Ukrainian media outlets,” adding that Lisitsa’s “provocative comments” had allegedly “overshadowed past performances.”

In the statement, Melanson seems to be referring to Lisitsa’s Twitter posts, in which she expresses her views on the situation in Ukraine.

Ukraine’s neo-Nazi leader becomes top military adviser, legalizes fighters

        http://rt.com/news/247001-ukraine-army-adviser-yarosh/

Ukraine’s Interpol-wanted leader of extremist group Right Sector, Dmitry Yarosh, has been appointed as an adviser to the country’s Chief of General Staff. He has agreed to legalize thousands of fighters as an assault team subordinate to the regular army.

“Colonel General Viktor Muzhenko, Chief of General Staff, and Dmytro Yarosh agreed the format of cooperation between ‘Pravy Sector’ [Right Sector] and the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” Ukraine’s defense ministry said in a statement.

Still good places to live, but we have gradually been losing our freedom. I can see where we're heading.

It really all depends what she posted.

Valentina Lisitsa alleges that she was shunned by the TSO after she was accused of inciting hatred by a lobby group claiming to represent the Ukrainian community.
She has been accused of inciting hatred and I know in the UK you can be arrested for hate speech.

Hate speech laws in the United Kingdom are found in several statutes.

Expressions of hatred toward someone on account of that person's colour, race, nationality (including citizenship), ethnic or national origin, religion, or sexual orientation is forbidden.[1][2][3]

Any communication which is threatening or abusive, and is intended to harass, alarm, or distress someone is forbidden.[4]

The penalties for hate speech include fines, imprisonment, or both.[5]

Her accuser has been the Kiev regime, not anyone in Canada. The Toronto Orchestra has bowed to the Kiev regime.

She simply sides with the freedom fighters in east Ukraine against the fascist regime in Kiev, and they don't like it.

                Here's her twitter:

Nothing that fits that description there.

Well really it's one organisation within Canada that has dropped her from playing with them. She is still free to play in another orchestra or as a soloist in another venue.

Yes, it's not the entire country.

Still, it's the most prestigious orchestra in Canada.
