I just bought a Roku 3 player, does anybody know about them?

I can't seem to get it to work on my TV.

The store clerk said I could use it to play the HD boxing videos I've downloaded onto my Lacie hard drive (.mkv files etc).

I connected it to my HDTV with HDMI cable. The light comes on on the Roku 3 after I plugged it in, when I press a button on the Roku remote control the light flashes.

But nothing happens when I plug it in to the TV and to the hard drive.

I've tried plugging it into my computer, but still nothing happens on my HDTV.

Anybody know what I'm supposed to do?

I got it working now. I just had to get a Roku account and password to get it working.

Now that ShulderRoll is back from his ban, my threads are getting that automatic one-star rating again.

What a sick, obsessive POS. He's one of the worst people we've ever had posting here.
