  • Americans View of Russia, Worst Its Ever Been According to Gallup Polls

Following Russia's annexations of Crimea, and its direct support for the terrorist rebel groups in Eastern Ukraine, America's positive view of Russia has significantly plummeted with 70% having an unfavorable view. Americans negative view of Putin has also skyrocketed even more so than Russia as a whole, with 72% of people viewing him as unfavorable.

For its imperialistic actions in Ukraine, Russia's ruble has now lost half of its value, and with the addition of sanctions and plummeting oil prices, it looks like the Russian economy is being exposed as a fragile gas station.

And that's exactly what the media tried to do. Mission accomplished.

Do Americans even know where Russia is? Remember all those "Americans asked simple geography questions" specials they used to do? No offence Americans.

I may not agree with Russia's militaristic actions and conquest of Crimea but I do not support sending weapons to the Ukrainians. I'm sick of the U.S. interfering in the affairs of other nations that do not directly impact us.

Oh you are sick of U.S. interfering? So youd rather see thousands of people slaughtered at the hands of evil dictators because you are sick of U.S. interfering? If it weren't for U.S. South Korea would be North Korea, Israel would be a wasteland, Taliban would be terrorizing its people on a larger scale, and new threats like ISIS would go unchecked until they've grown to the point where burning people alive would be a regular unstoppable occurrence. People in Ukraine are all calling on U.S. to lend its support in form of weapons and ulterior aid. This is what is expected of US, after the Budapest Memorandum was signed guaranteeing Ukraines sovereignty for giving up its nuclear arsenal. And the Senate just about universally agrees, but its the President who is hesitant and therefore is weakening his image and the US position in the world.

Russia is plastered all over the news in US for their aggressive imperialistic actions and support of terrorists in Eastern Ukraine. Its geography is quite obvious to anyone following the news or anyone who has been following the news dating back to the Cold War. The video you posted is in reference to Ukraine.

Because Russia will not allow Feminists to cripple them or for flamoyant gay rights groups to trash the image of their country.

two of the bigger whiny pc-groups which have a a lot of power in the US: feminists and gays. Both put in their places by Russians with balls.

That's likely the story behind those polls. Yanks don't know what's going on in the war.

Is that so? Well, let's thank the US everyone. USA invades Afghanistan, it's cool. USA invades Iraq, it's cool. USA invades Grenada, Panama, Vietnam, etc. And it's cool. A few groups of rebels start a war and everyone points their fingers at Russia.

Oh and I'm glad you pointed out that video was about Ukraine. That makes it sooooo much better. Only 16% of Americans know where Ukraine is? That's fine, let's just send over some weapons anyways. I mean did you watch the video? People though it was IN the US! Or in Canada, or Madagascar! Shows just how much people know...

Yes, actually I am. The U.S. should have never invaded Iraq to rid its evil dictator who routinely murdered his own people. You know why? Iraq was better off with Saddam Hussein than the mess it is now.

The world is a much more unstable and dangerous place because we invaded and occupied Iraq. The fall of Iraq spurred the Arab spring that resulted in numerous governments being overthrown and now those countries are extremely volatile and unsafe.

And what about all the American lives lost in that war? And trillions of dollars spend there?

The people of Eastern Ukraine are NOT terrorists, they are just ordinary people who want to be free of the Kiev regime.

                    Even NATO realizes that:

                    http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2015/01...not-terrorists

NATO's secretary general says the military bloc will not brand the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine as terrorist organizations.

Jens Stoltenberg told a news conference at NATO headquarters in Brussels on Friday that the military alliance does not aim to categorize the pro-Russian forces operating in eastern Ukraine as terrorists despite such a request by Kiev.
Ukraine army puts prisoners into a cage, the rebels treat prisoners in hospitals like their own (which they are).
